The chapel which seats maximum 64 people. Use of area in front of chapel for extra guests if needed (chairs supplied by Bride and groom) or use of lapa for ceremony of up to 100 guests.
Use of the function hall with tables, chairs and white table cloths for up to 120 guests or Use of lapa with tables, chairs and white table cloths for up to 60 guests. An extra service fee applies for catering if reception is held at the lapa
You are responsible for the decoration of the hall, lapa and chapel. No draping of the hall allowed. No sparkles allowed as they burn material. Please use proper candle holders as candles wax stains tablecloths. You are responsible or the replacement costs for any damages/losses of our property eg. Tablecloths, serviettes, chair tiebacks, runners, glasses and crockery.
All décor and flowers to be removed before 9am the day after function in hall. All décor and flowers to be removed immediately after function at lapa. Slanghoek Mountain Resort does not accept liability for loss or damage of any item.
The arranging and setting of tables are the responsibility of the bride and groom unless otherwise arranged. The hall will be available on the Friday morning from 8am. The resort will arrange the tables and set the tables if discussed beforehand with the function co-ordinator.
For a wedding of up to 80 guests 8 guests per table can be seated. For weddings with more than 80 guests 10 guests per table can be seated.
Function and music in the hall to end no later than 12pm with guests leaving the premises. Function to end no later than 11pm at the lapa. Guests must leave the premises at these times or retire to their accommodation if staying over. Please remember that we do not allow day visitors so guests of the wedding may not visit guests staying on the resort. No smoking allowed in the hall. Music allowed in the hall only at an acceptable level as our guest chalets and safari tents are nearby. No music allowed at the lapa except for the wedding march. Pools are for exclusive accommodation guests usage and not for wedding guests.
